Rehabilitation and Consolidation of the Palestinian Veterinary Services

Description:
The rehabilitation of the veterinary services in the Palestinian Territories including the construction of physical facilities such as laboratories and quarantine stations.

Objective:
The establishment of a modern and cost-effective veterinary service

Scope:
There are ongoing activities on national, bilateral and trilateral basis. However, coordinated efforts and improved coordinated control measures are required and should be encouraged.

Tasks and Scope of Work:
The project includes the following components:
  • Provision of technical assistance
  • Training of staff
  • Constructions (diagnostic facilities, field veterinary and quarantine infrastructure, etc.)
  • Equipment (veterinary instruments, laboratory, office, transport)
